Yo check these reptiles

I found it!

Reptiles by National Geographic Society (U.S.)
I've looked for this video several times in the past decade and uh, somehow I guess I've never checked the Internet Archive before. I am boo boo the fool.
I had it on VHS as a child, in all it's low rez glory. I'd alternate between Episode 4, My Name is Nobody, and this. It was great, it had claymation dinosaurs, the threat of death in the hot sun, the collection of snake venom, a tiny snake laso, and some hot monitor footage.

Notable bits include:

"hey, these animals are good, and all these other animals are jerks. 'specially the world of reptiles"
Som PoV shots of pondwater
Some some lizard making the mistake of his life: leaving the primordial soup for land

"The Highly Evolved Lizards"
Snakes aka the most successful reptile. (huh are they really the most successful reptile? I guess???)

A segment where a scuba babe tries to not get bit by one of the most poisonous snakes underwater

Some big turtles hunting

In conclusion: 4/🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
